Stand Like Stone is seeking its next leader to amplify our impact and launch us into the new era for community foundations.

As the driving force behind our strategic vision, you will work with a dedicated Board of Directors to lead our development, growth, and sustainability, activating giving and driving positive change for the Limestone Coast.

About Us

The Stand Like Stone Foundation is a forward-thinking, values-driven community foundation and charitable organisation serving the Limestone Coast. Since 2004 we’ve been committed to building a long-term source of funds and distributing the income to the Limestone Coast community through grants for charitable projects, educational scholarships and other philanthropic activities.

About the role

As our Chief Executive Officer, you will:

• Shape and grow community philanthropy in the Limestone Coast.
• Work with passionate and inspiring people to expand the reach and impact of Stand Like Stone
• Be part of a thriving and vibrant Limestone Coast and philanthropic community

The Role

As an inspiring and dynamic Chief Executive Officer you will lead Stand Like Stone into the future.

You will have overall responsibility for the strategy, vision, operations, and financial performance of the organisation, ensuring we are maximising impact and operating sustainability.

This is an exciting opportunity for a generative leader who is passionate about making a positive difference and can bring strategic thinking, leadership, and an entrepreneurial mindset to the role.

The objectives of the role are to:

• Provide strategic leadership
• Actively engage donors, the community and other stakeholders
• Increase Stand Like Stone’s assets
• Ensure Stand Like Stone’s grant making and scholarship programs and other philanthropic activities align to the strategic vision
• Cultivate effective philanthropy for Stand Like Stone and community foundations
• Ensure Stand Like Stone meets its statutory and trustee obligations
• Effectively and efficiently manage resources to achieve Stand Like Stone’s purpose
